A Little Bit About Me
I try not to be biased about my children, but as such, my son is the funniest one in our family. He is a mix of Palestinian, Caucasian (English/American), and Native American.
He has been to Umrah, alhamdulillah.
We believe marriage to be a very important decision between two parties and as such, the parties need to understand one another fully, hence a long engagement is preferred. Despite my son growing up Muslim, he still likes to learn about Islam, alhamdulillah.
He watches anime, Bollywood, and Korean dramas in his spare time, and hence, speaks a bit of Japanese, Korean, Hindi and Arabic in addition to, of course, English. We are a family of geeks and read and watch a lot of sci-fi.
We love reading, playing together, and reminding one another, as well, alhamdulillah.
As a mother and sister, I am also an advocate for all fellow sisters. Sometimes men need reminding, and I am not shy to do so. If you are looking for a husband for your daughter, please be assured that I will be her advocate unless it regards something un-Islamic (which I cannot foresee happening, in shaa Allah). What I Am Looking For
A woman who is ready to have a friendship and partnership while still being able to enjoy herself in an Islamic lifestyle.
Our family constantly tries to improve ourselves, and our environment, hence any potential addition to the family should be open to new ideas and experiences, too.
She should be serious about Islam, and should at the bare minimum wear hijab and pray as often as she feels she can, in shaa Allah.
Please know this: My son has been taught to have the utmost respect for women and we will not tolerate any disrespect to any women, no matter what reason.
